Whether we're hiking to an alpine lake before sunrise, wandering a quiet aspen grove in peak autumn, or standing together above treeline as the last light disappears behind the Rockies, every session is designed to feel like an experience; not a photoshoot.As a Summit County local and lifelong adventurer, I spend much of my free time exploring Colorado's scenic locations by mountain bike, hiking trail, and Jeep road. That means I know the hidden overlooks, secluded valleys, and lesser-known spots that most visitors never discover. Together, we'll choose a setting that reflects your relationship and creates photographs that feel genuinely connected to the place.Every session is carefully planned before we ever pick up a camera. I scout locations, study the direction of the sun throughout the day, monitor weather patterns, and build a timeline around the best natural light. By the time your session begins, I already know where we'll be standing, how the landscape will photograph, and how to make the most of every moment.I intentionally accept only a limited number of engagement sessions and adventure elopements each season. This allows me to invest the time each couple deserves, from planning and location scouting to editing and final delivery, without rushing the creative process.If you're looking for a traditional ballroom wedding photographer, there are many talented artists who specialize in that style. My work is built for couples who feel most at home outside: intimate celebrations, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable adventures. If you're willing to hike a trail before sunrise, drive a rugged mountain road, or exchange vows overlooking Colorado's high country, I'll happily carry the camera gear.

What is an Adventure Elopement?

Adventure elopements are intentionally intimate celebrations focused on the couple and the experience itself. Rather than photographing a traditional ceremony with guests, these sessions are designed around exploration; whether that means hiking to an alpine lake, exchanging vows at sunrise, or spending the day discovering Colorado together. They're less about following a schedule and more about creating an unforgettable story.
